Distribution: NS to GA to eastern TX to southern SK. Kentucky collections are mostly from the north-central part of the state ( Interior Plateau ; Map 151).

Larval host plants: Carya spp ., Celastrus scandens , Cornus florida , Crataegus viridis , Diospyros virginiana , Hamamelis virginiana , Haplopappus acradenius , Lindera benzoin , Liquidambar styraciflua , Liriodendron tulipifera , Metopium toxiferim , Morus alba , Parthenocissus spp. , Quercus velutina , Rhus spp. , Ribes cynosbati , Salix nigra , Staphylea trifolia and Vitis hederaceae ( Monné & Nearns 2022d)

Comments: Malaise traps and beating host plants are effective collecting methods. While chemical attractants are unknown, the specimens collected with the Ray lab lure blend indicate that either one or more of its components, or the panel trap itself, may be attractants.
