Larval host plants: Acer , Rhus ( Bousquet et al. 2017) , Carpinus caroliniana , Carya spp ., Cercis canadensis , Fraxinus americana , Pinus contorta , Sambucus racemosa , Tilia americana and Ulmus rubra ( Monné & Nearns 2022d)

Comments: A common, diurnal species often collected by Malaise traps or beating, although it also comes to lights.
