Distribution: NS to NC to AR to WI to south-central ON. The few Kentucky specimens are mostly from the eastern half of the state (Map 112).

Collection methods: Cornus flowers (5); Malaise trap (3)

Larval host plants: Betula ( Chemsak 2005)

Adult flower hosts: Acer , Achillea , Aruncus , Cornus , Heracleum , Hydrangea , Prunus , Pyrus , and Viburnum ( Bousquet et al. 2017)

Comments: Series of specimens can be collected on flowering dogwoods in April and May in Kentucky.
