Distribution: Largely Appalachia with records from southern NH to northern GA. Kentucky specimens are from the eastern part of the state (Western Allegheny Plateau and Central Appalachians ecoregions; Map 142). Kentucky counties: Harlan (1), Rowan (7) Years: 1985 (7), 2015 (1) Months: June (8) Collections (3 records, 8 specimens): EGCCRC (1), UKIC (7) Collection methods: Blacklight (1); Flowers: Aruncus (4), Apocynum (2), Viburnum (1) Larval host plants: Unknown Adult flower hosts: Acer , Aruncus , Cornus , Hydrangea , Kalmia , Magnolia , Rhododendron , Rosa , Rubus , Spiraea and Vlburnum ( Chemsak 2005) Comments: Adults are diurnal and collected on flowers.
