Distribution: Southern PQ to GA to southeastern TX to IA. Kentucky collections of this uncommonly collected species were from near Berea and just south of Cincinnati, OH (Map 152).

Adult flower hosts: Aesculus , Ceanothus , Cornus , Rosa ( Bousquet et al. 2017) , Heracleum and Tragopogon ( Lingafelter 2007)

Comments: This widespread but uncommonly collected species is diurnal, but also occasionally attracted to lights (atypical for lepturines).
