Distribution: Southern PQ to northern FL to eastern OK to MN. Kentucky collections are from the eastern half of the state ( Interior Plateau and Western Allegheny Plateau; Map 072)

Collection methods: Light (2); Malaise trap (2); panel trap baited with Ray lab blend (2), fuscumol (1)

Larval host plants: Carya glabra ( Monné & Nearns 2022d)

Comments: This species is much less frequently collected in Kentucky than the very similar congener G. fasciatus , perhaps due to its much more restricted larval host range. Attracted to lights.
