Larval host plants: Abutilon , Ambrosia spp. , Anoda lavaterioides , Baccharis , Baileya pleniradiata , Cucurbita foetidissima , Gaillardia , Glycine max , Gossypium thurberi , Haplopappus , Helenium , Helianthus annuus , Heterotheca lamarckii , Hymenoclea monogyra , Kallstroemia grandiflora, Lepidium , Parthenium , Physalis , Solanum obtusifolium , Solidago canadensis , Sphaeralcea ambigua , Verbesina encelioides , Xanthium pennsylvanicum and Zaluzania ( Monné & Nearns 2022d)

Comments: Most Kentucky specimens with known collecting methods were taken in soybean (see comments for D. sayi ); can be collected in series by sweeping soybean ( Glycine max ).
