Distribution: NB to SC and northern GA to MI. Kentucky specimens were taken from the eastern third of the state (Western Allegheny Plateau; Map 122).

Larval host plants: Branches of living Azalea , Rhododendron ( Lingafelter 2007) , Cornus florida , Kalmia latifolia and Vaccinium arboretum ( Monné & Nearns 2022d)

Comments: Beating or sweeping the hosts and Malaise traps are effective collecting methods.
