Distribution: Southern ON to NC to south TX to NM and CO. Kentucky specimens are from the central third of the state ( Interior Plateau ; Map 096).

Collection methods: Malaise trap (4)

Larval host plants: Aster spinosus , Helianthus , Heterotheca and Ratibida pinnata ( Monné & Nearns 2022d)

Comments: Adults can be collected by sweeping wildflowers ( Lingafelter & Horner 1993).
