Syn.: Hesperus natalensis Scheerpeltz, 1971: 188 (preoccupied, type locality: Süd-Afrika, Natal); Herman, 2001a: 2686 ( Hesperus , catalog); Herman, 2001b: 25 (same species as Hesperus natalensis Scheerpeltz, 1956 , synonym).
