Genus Cyaniris Dalman View in CoL View at ENA
( Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 A, B)
The egg of the single Iberian species of the genus, Cyaniris semiargus (Rottemburg) , has a reduced micropylar depression. The tubercle-aeropyle zone is made up of small, quadrangular cells with rounded edges and with prominent walls that result in this area being tightly knitted. The tubercles are short and dome shaped. Cells in the annulus have thick rounded walls that surround a micropylar rosette with four petals.
