DISTRIBUTION: SE Nigeria, Cameroon, Rio Muni ( Equatorial Guinea), Congo Republic, SW Central African Republic, Gabon, N and E Zaire, SW Uganda, N Rwanda.

STATUS: CITES - Appendix I; U.S. ESA - Endangered; IUCN - Endangered as G. g. berengei and G. g. graueri , otherwise Vulnerable.
