Redescription. Male. Integument brown. Body with predominance of whitish pubescence. Disc of pronotum brown. Elytra with longitudinal brown bands beginning at the base of the elytra and extending to the posterior quarter.
Upper eye lobes well separated, distance between them almost three times the width of a lobe. Antennae exceeding elytral apices at antennomere VI. Scape subequal in length to antennomere III, III–VIII subequal in length, IX–XI gradually increasing in length. Pronotum deeply and uniformly punctate. Lateral tubercle with base dilated. Prosternal process 1/5 as wide as procoxal cavity. Mesosternum depressed. Mesosternal process 1/3 as wide as mesocoxal cavity. Metasternal suture not reaching the anterior margin.
Elytra approximately 3.5 times as long as prothorax; surface densely and uniformly punctate, punctures deeper and coarser in anterior half. Humeri slightly projected anteriorly. Apices obliquely truncated, angles slightly produced.
Metatarsomere I 1.5 times as long as II–III together. Apex of urotergite V emarginate; urosternite V semicircular with angles strongly produced.
Female. Apex of urotergite V acute and gradually narrowed distally; urosternite V truncate, not exceeding elytral apices by more than half its length.
Measurements, in mm. male/female. n= 6/5. Total length, 6.78±0.32/7.18±0.51; prothorax length, 1.45±0.12/ 1.42±0.04; prothorax width at widest point, 2.13±0.10/2.14±0.17; elytral length, 4.73±0.23/5.00±0.42; humeral width, 2.33±0.16/2.48±0.19.
Geographical distribution. French Guiana, Brazil (Amazonas, Rondônia and Mato Grosso) and Bolivia (Santa Cruz). This species is reported herein from Peru (Junin)

PERU, Junin: Satipo, female, III.1941 (MNRJ).
