Redescription. Male. Integument light-brown. Body with predominance of whitish pubescence. Elytra with four brown spots, one circular in basal third near suture, one lateral in humeral region, a larger spot medially and a smaller circular spot in the posterior third.

Upper eye lobes well separated, distance between them equal to twice the width of a lobe. Antennae exceeding elytral apices at antennomere VI. Scape slightly shorter than antennomere III, III–IX subequal in length, X slightly longer than III, antennomere XI 1 /3 longer than X. Pronotum with deep and uniformly distributed punctures, lateral tubercle acute with surrounding area dilated, anterior region with transverse depression. Prosternal process slightly narrower in the middle, about as wide as procoxal cavity. Mesosternum depressed. Mesosternal process 1/ 3 as wide as mesocoxal cavity.

Elytra approximately 3.5 times as long as prothorax; anterior region deeply and uniformly punctate. Apices emarginate, angles slightly produced.

Metatarsomere I 1.7 times as long as II–III together. Apex of urotergite V semicircular with angles strongly produced; urosternite V semicircular, angles rounded.

Female. Apex of urotergite V acute, gradually narrowed distally; apex of urosternite V with apical margin semicircularly emarginate, exceeding the elytral apices by its length.

Measurements, in mm. female/male. n= 15/11. Total length, 7.36±0.61/8.15±0.96; prothorax length, 1.44±0.09/1.55±0.20; prothorax width at widest point, 2.16±0.20/2.38±0.34; elytral length, 5.24±0.47/5.78±0.67; humeral width, 2.55±0.22/2.79±0.39.

Remarks. Eucharitolus bellus is similar to Eucharitolus spilotus sp. nov. and E. dorcadioides . It differs from both by the characteristic elytral pattern of pubescence ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 10 – 13. 10 – 11 ) and by the absence of black pubescence annulation on meso- and metatibiae. See other comments under E. pulcher .
