Arius dioctes ZBK Kailola, 2000: 128, figs. 1-2. Type locality: Norman River at Karumba . 17º 29’ S, 140º 50’ E, Queensland, Australia. Holotype: CSIRO C.3798 . GoogleMaps Paratypes: AMS I.15557-041 , GoogleMaps I.29292-001 , GoogleMaps CSIRO H.5154-01 , GoogleMaps NTM S.11190-001 , GoogleMaps S.14828-005 GoogleMaps .
Distribution: Southern New Guinea and northern Australia.
Countries: Papua New Guinea and Australia.
Habitat: Brackish and fresh waters.
Maximum size: 200 mm TL.
