Notes

Uroxys is an exclusively Neotropical genus with more than 50 described species ( Vaz-De-Mello 2008, Korasaki et al. 2012). This genus has species that can be found in grasslands and within primary and secondary forests; it also includes species specialised in sloth ( Bradypodidae ) dung ( Korasaki et al. 2012). Uroxys cf. minutus was the only species reported in this study.
