Type locality. French Guiana, Belizone, Montagues de Tortue , 427 m, 4°14’42”N, 52°35’06”W.
Remarks. The claspers bend at a right angle at about half their length, a condition unique in the genus. The spots on the head are found only in this species and T. boulardi .
