Diagnosis (male). It is close to Ptiloneuropsis immaculata Roesler in venation of wings and in presenting similar hypandrium, almost trapezoidal, and with sinuous sides, but differs from it by having mesal sclerite of the phallosome with robust triangular sides, posteriorly with two small triangular lateral projections, and with a v-shaped indentation in the middle, by having coniform external parameres, blunt ends, not dilated; and by having only two pairs of endophallic sclerites, an antero mesal pair club-shaped, proximally narrow, widening outwards, a posterior pair elongated, U-shaped, with robust inner arms, this covered with small triangular spines, outer arms narrow, shaped like a golf club, anteriorly dilated, narrowing posteriorly.
