Type species. Odontogryllodes brevicauda Chopard, 1969 View in CoL , by original designation.
Remarks. This genus previously consisted of six species from Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Java prior to the new species described from Borneo. These crickets are characterised by a cylindrical body; males with short FWs and completely lack stridulatory apparatus; metanotal gland present; tympanum absent; females with short ovipositor ( Gorochov, 2016). Tan & Kamaruddin (2016) presented a key to species.
