Previous records in the Algerian Sahara: None.

Previous records in the Hauts Plateaux and coastal area. There is an old record near Annaba ( Lucas 1846) that may refer to this taxon.

Comments. No Triops were found in recent surveys of the coastal region near Annaba ( Samraoui & Dumont 2002; Ghaouaci 2018). However, the occurrence of T. cancriformis has recently been confirmed in neighboring Tunisia ( Marrone et al. 2016).
