Notes
Species complex. At least two cryptic species exist in Scandinavia, differentiated by depth preference and colour pattern ( Nygren et al. 2010a). The deeper form was described as Notophyllum crypticum Nygren, Eklöf & Pleijel, 2010. The authors do not exclude further cryptic species in the complex.
