We found a larva of Trissopelopia in Little Rabbit Creek in Anchorage. This is a new faunistic record of the genus for Alaska. The larvae of Trissopelopia inhabit groundwater-fed springs, mountain brooks, and littoral of lakes,

especially in northern latitudes. The only described Nearctic species so far is Trissopelopia ogemawi Roback, 1971 , recorded from Alberta to Quebec, south to the Carolinas and Georgia.
