Current status. Synonym of Chrysomela Linnaeus, 1758 View in CoL (see MONRÓS & BECHYNÉ 1956, SEENO & WILCOX 1982, RILEY et al. 2003, KIPPENBERG 2010).
Comments. Gymnota Gistel, 1848 is also a junior primary homonym of Gymnota Gistel, 1834 (a junior synonym of Ancylocheira Eschscholtz, 1829, in Buprestidae ) (see BOUSQUET & BOUCHARD 2017).
