Buenoa platycnemis (Fieber, 1851)

Geographical distribution: southern United states in the Nearctic region to northern Argentina in the Neotropical region.

Habitat: common species throughout the island, up to 750 m above sea level, co-occurring with B. antigone antigone in some localities.
