Distribution

Palearctic species ( Majka and Klimaszewski 2012). Widespread in Italy, but absent in Sicily ( Ruffo and Stoch 2005).

Notes

Frequently found on dung, carrion and other decomposing organic matter ( Majka and Klimaszewski 2012).
