Remarks. Rhamphomyia (H.) nigripennis probably has the broadest distribution amongst species of the R. (H.) nigripennis group, occurring over the entire European part of Russia, including the Caucasus (besides West Europe), and extending to the east as far as Krasnoyarskiy Territory (East Siberia).
