Material examined.

Holotype: male, [ Thailand SE, Prov. Chanthaburi, Mt. Khao Soi Dao], Khow Sai Dow Mt. , 1000 ft, LS, - ii.1899, leg. W. L. Abbott, genit. prep. 5689 M. Fibiger. Coll. BMNH.

Diagnosis.

Wingspan: 13 mm.

Transverse lines: indistinct, brown; basal, antemedial, and postmedial lines marked with a black spot by costa. Reniform: black.

Hindwing: dark brown.

Underside: unicolorous brown.

Abdomen: brown, with black crest on first segment; male with long black to brown anal tufts.

Male genitalia.

Saccus: short, V-shaped.

Vinculum: short.

Tegumen: very long.

Tegumen: extremely long.

Fultura superior: fused with tegumen by a triangular process on left side.

Tergite and sternite: indistinct.

Costa: a prominent thorn at base of costa.

Sacculus: symmetrical; a small medial elevation, apically.

Ampulla: slightly asymmetrical, similar to a narrow kidney, apically smoothly rounded; with a hump basally on costal margin on left side.

Pollex : small, triangular, with long hair-like setae.

Digitus: symmetrical; long, narrow, evenly curved, pointed apically.

Phallus: extremely long, broadest by ductus ejaculatorius, abruptly coiled clock-wise at 2/3, slightly tapering towards apex; coecum very long.

Differential diagnosis.

The male genitalia resemble those of T. kampungi , T. alexmadseni , and T. conscitulana , but differ from them in having a longer costal process; a larger basal hump on the left ampulla, and a longer digitus than T. kampungi and T. alexmadseni , but shorter than that of T. constitulana .
