Least Concern for Italian assessment ( Audisio et al. 2014).

Distribution

Europe, Turkey and North America ( ITIS Species 2000 2020). The species is present only in the Italian pensinsula (absent in the Islands) ( Ruffo and Stoch 2005).

Notes

Lives in parks, banks, wetlands, floodplains, orchards, marshy areas ( Phragmitetum , Caricetum ), damaged marshy areas, vegetable crops, rural settlements, permanent meadows, wetlands near source and vineyards ( Zanetti et al. 2016).
