Distribution: Australia.

Included species (2): M. aequalis Blackburn, 1891: 115 , M. rugosa Latreille, 1802: 208 (= Rhyssopera areolata Pascoe, 1860: 99, = Rhyssopera illota Pascoe, 1860: 99, synonomies by Blackburn, 1902: 318 and confirmed later by Carter & Zeck 1937: 199).
