Specimens studied. 4♂♂, 3♀♀, Liupanshan , Ningxia, alt. 1900-2300m, 2008-VI-23 ~ VII-7, collected by Bi Wen- Xuan .
Distribution. China (Gansu *, Ningxia).
Diagnosis. Karny’s (1934) description of Tachycines (Gymnaeta) brevicauda suggests that it is very close to Tachycines (Gymnaeta) coomani , but obviously differs in body size. This species was synonymized by Storozhenko, 1990 with Tachycines (Gymnaeta) coomani Chopard, 1929 . Here we consider that these two species should be regarded as two independent valid species for the differences in body size, subgenital plate of female and male genitalia.
