Neofurius colombiensis Carvalho, 1984c: 19 . (original description).

Material examined. Type material. Holotype: COLOMBIA. Cundinamarca: 1 ♂, La Salina, 1800 m, iv.1965 (J. A. Ramos) ( MNRJ).

Diagnosis. Body color yellowish with dark brown to black areas. Head yellowish. Antennal segment I dark brown. Anterior pronotal lobe yellowish; posterior pronotal lobe yellowish with transverse stripe dark brown to black. Clavus black with median yellowish spot. Corium with transverse dark brown to black spot. Embolium with lateral margin dark brown to black. Cuneus with lateral margin and apex dark brown to black. Body length 5.00 mm. Right and left parameres as in Carvalho (1984c, Figs. 24–25 View FIGURES19–30 ).

Associated/host plants. Unknown.

Distribution. Colombia (Cundinamarca) ( Carvalho 1984c).

Comments. The color of the lateral margin of embolium and cuneus was not considered in the original description.
