Type Locality: Brazil, Amazonas, Tefé (south bank of Solimões River).

Vernacular Names: White-footed Saki.

Distribution: South bank of Amazon, between lower Jurua and lower Purús Rivers.

Conservation: CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).

Discussion: Separated from monachus by Hershkovitz (1979, 1987 d).
