Distribution. Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Kyushu) ( García Morales et al. 2016).
Host plants. Poaceae : Bambusa spp. , Indocalamus tessellatus , Phyllostachys edulis , and Sasa sp ( García Morales et al. 2016).
Remark. Unachionaspis signata has only two pairs of pygidial lobes developed.
