Material examined. Algeria: 284L, Great Kabylia, 2011–2013 ( Sekhi et al. 2016); 1♂, 1P ♂, 98L, northwestern Algeria, 2015–2019 ( Bemmoussat-Dekkak et al. 2021). Morocco: 1♀, Fes, 1920 ( Dakki 1978); 209L, 3P, 2 ♂, Rif, 1997–2003 ( Hajji et al. 2013); 3♂, 10P, 346L, northeastern Morocco, 2014 ( Mabrouki et al. 2020).

Distribution. This species has been reported from Spain and Portugal ( González & Menéndez 2011), from the Pyrenees, northwestern Africa, the Iberian Peninsula, including the eastern Galician Mountains (Martin et al. 2014); from the high Atlas of Morocco ( Bouzidi 1989); the middle Atlas ( Dakki 1987; Tayoub 1989); the Rif (El Alami & Dakki 1998; Hajji et al. 2013); Oriental Morocco (Berrahou 2001; Alaoui 2006; Bonada et al. 2008), northeastern Morocco ( Lamri et al. 2016; Mabrouki et al. 2020).
