Type locality.

Eastern part of Madagascar.

Material examined.

1 ♂: MAK-2; 1 ♀: MAK-42.

Distribution.

Madagascar, widespread ( Guignot 1959-1961; Biström 1996).

Habitat in study area.

Same as Hydrovatus capnius (see above).
