Diagnosis

Gonopod deeply narrowed between the ventral and dorsal processes ( Figure 5 View Figure 5 (c,d)): ventral process with long hairs along apical margin; dorsal process apically curved ventrad. This species strongly resembles S. xiaoyangae sp. nov. in the surstylus with 2 strong prensisetae; see under that species.

One male ( SCAU, No. 122023), CHINA: Wuyishan, on the boundary between Fujian and Jiangxi Provinces , 27.717°N, 117.950°E, altitude 1000 m, 23 July 2009, swept over tussock, HW Chen; 2 males, 1 female ( SCAU, Nos. 122020 – 22), Tianmushan, Linan, Zhejiang, 30.333°N, 119.417°E, altitude 800 m, 1 August 2009 and 2 July 2013, swept over tussocks, K Liu, ZF Shao, SJ Yan; 2 males, 2 females ( KIZ, Nos. 0088148 – 51) and 22 males, 8 females ( SCAU, Nos. 121990 – 2019), Haoping, Meixian, Shaanxi, 32.333°N, 108.517°E, altitude 1200 m, 12, 13 July 2012, swept over tussocks, HW Chen, JJ Gao GoogleMaps .
