Chaco, Corrientes *, Misiones * and Santa Fe *.

Central and South American distribution

Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Venezuela and West Indies ( Saint Vincent Is.) (Göllner- Scheiding 1983), same countries plus Cuba and Panamá ( Chopra 1973).

Remarks

This species is often found in sympatry with N. pictipes .
