Ecology and habitat in Iran: soil and leaf litter under oak trees.
Remarks: Cox 1982, Daghighi et al. 2013 a and Falahati et al. 2013a mentioned this species as Isotomina orientalis but in the last generic combination it is considered as Hemisotoma orientalis .
General distribution: Ukraine, Kazakhstan, S Siberia, SE France ( Potapov 2001) and Iran.
