Tettigades macrogina Torres 1949: 184 View in CoL (type material examined).

Type locality. Central Pampa, La Pampa Province, Argentina.

Remarks. The species was reported from the type locality in La Pampa Province by Torres (1949; 1958d). We were sent specimens from Chubut.

New provincial records. Prov. Chubut, Trelew , 29-XI-1997, D. Rojas Lanus coll. (three males, AFSC) .
