Remarks. This species is distinctive in the structure of the male genitalia, especially vertically expanded basal apodeme of the hypandrium and presence of paired spinose lobes on lateral sides of the distiphallic tubule (Sasakawa 1990: Figs. 1–5) and absence of prsc. The differences between this species and J. philippinensis Sasakawa are given in the key (couplet 10).

Material examined. THAILAND – Ƥ, Chaiyaphu Prov., Pa Hin Ngam National Park, dry dipterocarp, l15º38.099΄N, 698 m, 24–30. VIII. 2006, K. Sa-nog and B. Adnafai, Malaise trap ( NHMLA).

Distribution. Taiwan, Malaysia (Sabah), Thailand (new record).
