Pap[ilio] Helicon[ius] amphione Cramer, 1779: 68 [as amphione , but not as part of a binomen], 1780a: 173 [as amphiona], pl.232, figs E, F [original plate 201, figs C, C]. Surinam. [Spelt here as amphione in line with current usage.]

Material examined. No potential Cramer specimens located.

Current status. Valid species in Dismorphia (s.s.) ( Lamas, 2004b) [as amphione , with amphiona as a subsequent misspelling].
