Distribution.

In Peninsular Malaysia, known from Perak and Kelantan ( Maassen 2001). Elsewhere, in Jalor (=Yala), Thailand ( Maassen 2001).

Remarks.

Distinguished from congeners by its larger, low spired shell. Glossy surface. Periphery prominently keeled. Radial ribs prominent along the section of the whorl parallel to the pneumatophore, indistinct elsewhere. Shape similar but shell larger than Chamalycaeus oligopleuris .
