Montivipera raddei ( Boettger, 1890) Armenian Viper

The first record in the area under study was in the species description by Boettger (1890) on the basis of two specimens collected in 1888. The locality was mentioned as “Kasikoparan in Armenia,” nowadays Kazkoparan or Kozkoparan is in the province of Iğdır, Turkey .
