Distribution in mainland China: New record for mainland China, YN, Dali zhou, Binchuan county, Jizushan, 2500-3200m, 26~ 30.vi.1993. C. Holzschuh (4) (NME); Sabe, 28.vi~ 1.vii. 2002, E. Kucera (1) (LLY).

Other distribution. India, Burma, Vietnam. The species is newly recorded here from Nepal *, NW Pokhara, Kali-Gandaki-Khola, Tatopani , 1100-1300m, 12-14.v.1984, C. Holzschuh (1)( LLY) .

Biology. Beeson & Bhatia (1937) bred the species from Mallotus philippinensis (Lam.) Müll.Arg. (Euphorbiaceae) .
