Note: This species is represented by two subspecies in Turkey: the nominate form and Ch. coerulans angelica (Reich and Saulcy 1858) . It is more likely that the records from southern and western Turkey should be attributed to Ch. coerulans angelica .

Note: According to Kippenberg (2010b), this species is represented by three subspecies in Turkey: the nominate form, Ch. herbacea alacris Bechyné, 1950 (endemic to Turkey) and Ch. herbacea recticollis Motschulsky, 1860 . It was not possible to give the infraspecific distributions separately, however the endemic subspecies, Ch. herbacea alacris , is distributed mostly in southern Turkey (ANT, ISP, KAH, KAR, MER, OSM).
