Chinese name: 小HḎOiễ

Figure 5 View FIGURE 5

Description. Female. Body medium. Fastigium verticis conical, robust and short, projecting forward, apex obtusely rounded. Face subrugose with numerous impressed dots ( Fig. 5A–B View FIGURE 5 ). Eyes globular, protruding.

Posterior margin of pronotum slightly concave ( Fig. 5B View FIGURE 5 ); the transversal sulci indistinct; lateral lobes longer than deep, humeral sinus shallow, ventral margins slightly oblique ( Fig. 5C View FIGURE 5 ).

Procoxae with 1 spine; profemora with 2–3 internal and 3 external spines on ventral surface; protibiae with 6–7 internal and 6 external spines on ventral surface, apices with 1 pair of spurs. Mesofemora with 4 ventral spines on external margin; mesotibiae with 1–2 internal and 7 external spines on ventral surface, apices with 1 pair of spurs. Postfemora with 8 external spines on ventral surface; apices of genicular lobes rounded; posttibiae with 10 internal and 8 external spines on dorsal surface, ventral surface with 1–2 internal and 2–4 external spines, apices bearing one pair of ventral subapical spurs, two pairs of ventral apical spurs and one pair of dorsal apical spurs.

Tegmina short, covered by pronotum, invisible in dorsal view.

Tenth abdominal tergite with triangular median concavity ( Fig. 5D–E View FIGURE 5 ). Subgenital plate with basal area broad, narrowing, posterior margin obtusely rounded with 1 small median concavity ( Fig. 5G View FIGURE 5 ). Ovipositor moderately upwards, dorsal and ventral margins smooth, apices acute ( Fig. 5F View FIGURE 5 ).

Male. Unknown.

Coloration. Body light brown. Apical, ventral and lateral margins of fastigium verticis, center area of frons black brown.

Measurements (mm). Body: ♀ 24.1; pronotum: ♀ 7.2; tegmina: ♀ 1.0; postfemora: ♀ 11.2; ovipositor: 11.3.

Material examined. Holotype: female, Lvchun, Yunnan, June 1–15, 2015, coll. by Zizhong Yang ; DUIER.

Distribution. Yunnan (Lvchun).

Etymology. The new name refers to the posterior margin of female subgenital plate bearing a small concavity in the middle; from Latin “ fove ”.

Discussion. The new species is very similar to Anelytra (Euanelytra) compressa Shi & Qiu, 2009 in the shape of female subgenital plate, but differs from the latter in: central area of frons black; posterior margin of female subgential plate obtusely rounded, ventral surface without median carina.
