Type host: Canthigaster valentini (Bleeker) , Tetraodontidae , Valentinni's sharpnose puffer
Site: Intestine
Type locality: Heron Island, Queensland (23°27’S 151°55’E)
Prevalence: 12 of 16 (75%)
Intensity: 1–20 (6.1)

Etymology: The new species is named for our French colleague Professor Jean-Lou Justine.
Description: Measurements are of 18 gravid, unflattened, wholemount specimens. Body elongate, fusiform, with maximum width in mid-body, 711–1305 (1000) x 209–376 (297). Length/width ratio 2.41–4.29 (3.4). Tegument prominently spined in forebody; spines become progressively smaller on hindbody, absent at posterior extremity. Eye spot pigment distributed in forebody. Forebody 242–402 (318) long, occupying 27–36 (32)% body length. Oral sucker about same size as or slightly larger than ventral sucker, opening ventrally sub-terminally, spherical to sub-spherical, 93–137 (115) x 105–158 (134). Ventral sucker anterior to mid-body, 85–138 (111) x 90 –137 (114). Sucker width ratio 1.04–1.29 (1.18). Prepharynx absent. Pharynx distinctly smaller than oral sucker, 52–72 (60) x 66 –97 (81). Esophagus distinct, 50–106 (74). Ceca blindending, 461–648 (564) long. Post-cecal region occupies 7–14 (11) percent of body length and 36–59 (46) % of post-testicular space. Post-testicular region 143–395 (249) long, occupying 20–32 (25)% body length. Testis single, entire, 145–209 (178) x 90 –177 (120). Cirrus sac 126–206 (158) x 45 –94 (75), extending from anterior half of ovary to posterior quarter of ventral sucker where it opens at common genital pore. Common genital pore opening sinistrally to midline, lateral to posterior half of ventral sucker. Internal seminal vesicle twochambered; anterior chamber approximately equal to posterior chamber. Pars prostatica not detected. Eversible ejaculatory duct (cirrus) short, beset with tiny spines, typically orientated dorsoventrally and not reliably measurable, 35–61 (46) long. Maximum cirrus spine length 3–5 (4). Ovary oval, immediately anterior to testis, 76–109 (94) x 81 –116 (98). Vitellarium in two bunches of lateral follicles extending from anterior margin of testis to posterior margin of ventral sucker, reaching 0–76 (31) anterior to posterior margin of ventral sucker. Vitelline reservoir median, immediately dorsal to ovary. Canalicular seminal receptacle absent; uterine seminal receptacle not detected. Laurer's canal not detected. Uterus extends to posterior extremity in two or three major coils; secondary coiling variable. Metraterm short, lined with tiny inconspicuous spines, extends to common genital pore from posterior margin of genital pore. Terminal organ unipartite. Egg capsules with single long filament; central capsule 27–43 (35) x 14–23 (18). Excretory vesicle 87–138 (103) long.
