Lectotype (Jonsell & Jarvis in Nordic J. Bot. 22: 71. 2002): Löfling 496, Herb. Linn. No. 836.35 ( LINN) .

Current name: Sisymbrium irio L. View in CoL ( Brassicaceae ).

Note: Several authors from Franchetti (in Webbia 14: 194. 1958) onwards indicated unspecified material in LINN as type but failed to distinguish between several possible collections there. They are evidently not part of a single gathering so Art. 9.15 does not apply.
