The wasp pulled the paralyzed tube trapdoor spider up a vertical embankment, ventral side upward, grasping its sternum with her mandibles ( Sanza 2018) .
CHILE: Biobío Region, Concepción Province, Nonguén National Reserve ; 28 September 2019; _set_free. Host: Unidentified species ( Nemesiidae ), adult or subadult female. The wasp held the paralyzed tube trapdoor spider upright on the ground, grasping its ventral pedicel with her mandibles (_Set_free 2019) .

The wasp grasped the base of the paralyzed tube trapdoor spider’s 2 nd right leg with her mandibles and dragged it backwards on the ground, holding it upright ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1–8. 1 , Betancourt 2015) .

A series of photographs shows the wasp straddling the paralyzed tube trapdoor spider on the ground, venter to dorsum, before dismounting and grasping the spider by its left foreleg patella with her mandibles and dragging it, ventral side upward, backwards on the ground ( Tempesta 2020; P. A. Goloboff, CONICET, Buenos Aires, Argentina, 2020 pers. comm.).
