CA: Alameda County, Fremont , Mission Peak Ohlone Trail; 8 July 2010; J. Chan. Host: Schizocosa mccooki , adult female. The wasp dragged the paralyzed wolf spider on the ground, dorsal side upward, grasping its right pedipalp with her mandibles ( Chan 2010) .
CA: Los Angeles County, Los Angeles , Los Angeles Zoo; 9 August 2019 ; R. Johnson (richardah_j). Host: Schizocosa mccooki , adult or subadult female. The wasp dragged the paralyzed wolf spider backwards on the ground, dorsal side upward, grasping its right pedipalp with her mandibles ( Johnson 2019) .
CA: San Diego County, Lake Morena County Park , Morena Village; 16 September 2017, 1127 ( PDT) ; H. Valtierra. Host: Rabidosa santrita , adult or subadult female. The wasp pursued and caught the wolf spider, stung and immobilized it, and left it dorsal side upward on the ground. After grooming, she grasped it by a chelicera or pedipalp with her mandibles and dragged it backwards on the ground, dorsal side upward ( Valtierra 2017).
CO: Larimer County, Fort Collins, Lory State Park, Well Gulch Nature Trail; 20 August 2018; M. Webb (mmwebb). Host: Hogna cf carolinensis , adult or subadult. The wasp stood near the paralyzed wolf spider as it laid, dorsal side upward, on the ground ( Webb 2018).
NV: Washoe County, Reno; 12 July 2017; K. Wilbrecht (kristinewilbrecht). Host: Hogna cf antelucana , adult or subadult female. The wasp pulled the paralyzed wolf spider up a vertical wall, dorsal side upward, grasping the base of its right foreleg with her mandibles ( Wilbrecht 2017).
UT: Washington County, near St. George ; 14 November 2016 ; April (glowinggoby). Host: Olios giganteus , adult female. The wasp pulled the paralyzed huntsman spider along the ground, dorsal side upward, grasping its chelicera with her mandibles ( April 2016) .
